First-Year Student

A first-year student is someone who has never attended a university before. If you are currently in high school — whether you are in 7th grade or 11th grade — it is never too early to start thinking about your college journey. Preparing yourself now is one of the smartest decisions you can make.

Maintaining strong grades should be a consistent focus throughout your high school years. Starting to think about college as early as 7th grade gives you valuable time to explore your interests, develop your skills, research universities you might want to attend, gather their admissions requirements, and get involved in extracurricular activities.

But do not worry, if you are beginning your college plan in 11th grade — you still can get admission to the school of your choice. It just means you will have a shorter time to get everything in order, and that is where we can help! A member of the C & G Exchange team is ready to collaborate with you at any stage of your high school journey.

Let us help you navigate the college admissions process and set you on the path to success!
