The Internship Program offers university students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience by interning with a U.S.-based business.
These internships are carefully structured to support professional skill development within specific academic or career fields, while also offering participants valuable cultural experiences and insight into American workplace culture and daily living.
To take part in the program, candidates must first secure a job offer from a U.S. organization. Alternatively, we can assist you in finding an internship or training program. In order to legally intern in the United States, you will need a J-1 visa. The J-1 visa program is a cultural exchange initiative that allows individuals from other countries to go to the U.S. to gain experience, share knowledge and ideas, and engage with Americans in their field of study or profession. Program durations typically range from a few weeks to a year, after which participants are expected to return to their home countries and apply the skills and experience, they have attained.
The program is overseen by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) within the U.S. Department of State.
